Feb 3, 2008 - Xscapes provides relaxing retreat at Dancing with the Local Stars Charity event to benefit victims of Breast Cancer.
DANCING WITH THE LOCAL STARS CHARITY EVENT: Xscapes was part of a very successful event in St. Augustine benefiting the Breast Cancer Foundation. The fund-raiser was the largest to date in St. Augustine and Xscapes was proud to be a sponsor and “decorate” the outside of the tents. We got a lot of great publicity and plenty of compliments from the attendees. Thank You for all of the exhibitors that helped to make this event a success. Special thanks to Collins Turf, Pristine Pavers, Carved Expressions, and Palm Freddies.

March 15, 2008 - Xscapes helps decorate the lobby of the Sawgrass Marriot for the 2008 McGala benefit for the Ronald McDonald House.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE FUNDRAISER: Xscapes was proud to be a sponsor and help this wonderful cause to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Berkshire Water Gardens did a beautiful stream and waterfall that got compliments by everyone. The managing director for the conference center at the Marriot said that out of all the event he has ever done, this was in the top five. What a compliment! At last count the benefit raised over $300,000.

March 15, 2008 - Xscapes Kickin’ off the season event.
Xscapes began its seasonal events with a event focused on getting to know our customers. Samples of food were provided by Collins Turf and Custom Summer Kitchens as customers perused the displays throughout the showroom.

July 15, 2008 - Xscapes featured on "Staycations" segment on First Coast News.
July 15th, 2008: Xscapes was featured on a segment by First Coast News titled "Staycations" Julia Crowley interviewed both Matthew Powers, owner of Xscapes and a Jacksonville Resident, Dee Anderson, who used Xscapes as a source for inspiration and qualified contractors. Dee, with the help of our Xscapes Designer, Jennifer Hayes, designed a backyard that included a large putting and chipping green, a pondless water feature, native landscaping, firepit, seating walls, walkways, and more. Dee talked a lot in the interview of what a great source Xscapes was, and how it helped her to see what the possibilities were for her yard.
